Option 1
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is the second largest university in the state, with over 19,000 students. A public, selective admissions university, UL Lafayette awards bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees. The University includes diverse offerings from the humanities to scientific research and leads the nation in areas like computer science, biology and nursing. Within the Carnegie classification, the University is designated as a Research University with High Research Activity. UL Lafayette is dedicated to achieving excellence in undergraduate and graduate education, in research, and in public service. The University reaffirms its historic commitment to diversity and integration. Thus, through instruction, research, and service, the University promotes regional economic and cultural development, explores solutions to national and world issues, and advances its reputation among its peers.
