World-class all-hazards emergency management and oil spill response training is available through public-private partnerships. 

The UL Lafayette National Incident Management Systems and Advanced Technologies (NIMSAT) Institute has partnered with Safety Management Systems, an Acadian Company, to provide "all-hazards emergency preparedness" training and exercising capability.

The UL Lafayette Marine Survival Training Center has partnered with American Pollution Control and The Response Group to provide world-class training on "oil spill" response.
