Fri, 05/17/2024 - 11:13amThe University of Louisiana at Lafayette broke ground last week on the expansion of its New Iberia Research Center, making it a BioSafety Level III laboratory allowing for more on-site advanced research. The expansion is also the first step in growing the state’s newest economic sector.
This expansion combined with the construction of the Iberia BioInnovation Accelerator in Progress Point Business Park will create the Bieaux Tech Technology Hub in Iberia Parish.
