Research Integrity/Allegations of Research Misconduct
If you would like to report an alleged research misconduct, please contact Dr. Sebnem Cilesiz. If you would like to learn how to recognize or avoid research misconduct, please review our resource materials on misconduct or take the CITI Responsible Conduct of Research online course.
We seek excellence in the discovery and dissemination of knowledge. Excellence in scholarship requires all of us to adhere to the highest standards of integrity with regard to research, instruction and evaluation. As scholars and citizens of the university community, we all must be aware of our responsibilities to colleagues, students, the university, the community and society at large and act ethically at all times.
We have policies and procedures, that align with federal and state regulations, for dealing with alleged misconduct. These procedures are also intended to protect innocent researchers and scholars from harassment, to prevent interference with their academic freedom, and to protect anyone who reports an alleged misconduct from retribution.
