National Water Research Institute: Research Program

The sponsor's research program supports multi-disciplinary, multi-geographic projects throughout the U.S. and abroad focused on water, wastewater, and water resources, including urban watershed issues. The goals of the research program include: Identify research needs relating to water science and policy issues; Build collaborative partnerships to develop and support water research; Provide opportunities for the water community to meet and discuss significant issues; Encourage the general public to recognize the need for water research.
