Do I need Export Control Review Checklist?

If the Export Control Review Checklist indicates that you should get assistance from the Export Control Officer, please download and complete the Export License Review Worksheet and emai to ori@louisiana.edu.

If you will have a visiting scholar or scientist who is not a US citizen or greencard holder, please have them read and sign the Visiting Scholar/Scientist Export Compliance Acknowledgement and return to you for signature.  After you sign, please have your department head or college dean sign and send to ori@louisiana.edu.

Drone Use Regulation Update
New federal restrictions on drone use for government-funded projects go into effect December 22, 2025. Federal regulations will prohibit the use of certain unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) from specific manufacturers in connection with government-funded research projects.  Persons using these drones on unfunded video projects should consider the possibility of technological information being transmitted to a foreign government.
